I think this was the second piece to be done in my watercolor Kagrra series, which basically made me decide to *do* a series because it was so similar to the first [Shin] picture. I think this is one of my favorites, just because umm the pose is very pretty I think! It's Izumi, the drummer from Kagrra, even though it doesn't look it, haha. This was the first time I attempted to do sumi-e-ish trees, so after this first experiment I think that I got a little better with the ones to come ^^**** I regret not getting in more shades of blue, yet I still like it simple like this... yup ^_^* Izumi is always kinda sullen/serious looking... but not this sad looking!
Even the Isshi background wasn't as strong as the others, that's the worst one can say. I like the lines and colors... you're style's use of hard angles is really unique (in a good way that's not a euphamism for "sucks"). The patterns on the clothing are a nice detail.
I like the series but I'm too lazy to do more than one post... thanks for the good pix.
All of these characters have such distinct individual looks to them..He looks quiet, I think the blue colors in this compliment that. The fan is pretty, cleanly done :3
thanks for the comment! I like the fan too LoL XD glad you think each looks individual, I was hoping so but so~~ worried about each showing their own personalities ^.^
:: gasp:: Soooooo Pretty!!!!! I love the blue! >_<

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This contest ends on Friday the 18th December 2009. If you want to enter, get your entries in quick! Here are all the entries so far. Also if you want to donate a prize, that would be fantastic too, just note me
